Apollo accepts PDF, ppt, docx, several other files (Andrew and Dakota will complete this list)
(ppt animations will not transfer as well as links) Must add these after the upload of content!
Apollo will show when students jump off the lesson; students will log into their apollo account and names will appear in the left side of teacher view.
Shared web-links will force students to stay in Apollo and will not kick out to Safari app. Student web interaction is contained.
Can upload multiple file types into the same lesson; can use iPad photo and incorporate w/drawing tools/includes access to Google Drive and Dropbox
Quizzes can be added on the fly. Students can change answers until you “lock” the quiz but can’t see who else is answering. ***Drop a pin quiz had an issue on iPad, could not see venn diagram on iPad***
nice integration of camera into drawing quizzes so students can “take a photo” of their work/an angle for math, etc.
Use the unlock tool (top left of screen)
Add recording of voice - works only on iPad Apollo App
Students can watch and replay lesson as many times as needed!
Teachers create “Template” for classes - Template really means “master copy”
Can hide a lesson after it’s added so students don’t see it til you prefer
